All three tools are designed to effectively help your patients clean between their teeth.

  • Floss comes in string floss or flossers, which can be inserted between the teeth to remove food and plaque. It's a good option for those who have very tight teeth.
  • Interdental brushes are small brushes with conical or cylindrical heads and bristles designed to fill and clean dental embrasures; removing food and plaque. They're like small toothbrushes and come in multiple sizes to fit different dental embrasure spaces.
  • Dental picks are little rubber bristle brushes with a rubber tip, designed to quickly and gently remove food and plaque between teeth while stimulating blood flow in the gums. They are convenient for use at home or on the go.

From smallest to largest here is our line of GUM® Soft-Picks®

  • GUM® Soft-Picks® Original
  • GUM® Soft-Picks® Wider Spaces

For best results and good hygiene, we recommend changing our toothbrushes at least every three months or as soon as the bristles start to flare out.

If your patient is ill, we recommend they change their toothbrush after recovery.

Some of our home care solutions are particularly adapted to orthodontics, allowing your patient to clean around the wires and brackets easily. We recommend using our dental picks, GUM® Soft-Picks® or interdental brushes, GUM® Proxabrush® Go-Betweens® Cleaners.

Choosing the right interdental size ensures the best results and avoids hurting your patients' gums.

We recommend using our GUM® ORTHODONTIC Toothbrush with V-shape cut bristles to help your patients clean around their orthodontic appliances. It also comes in a travel version.
